GPS 800 is a f/10 scope with my old Meade f/6.3 focal reducer for a wider FOV. First light was March 3, 2021. The SCT weighs 42 lbs. so it is portable.
Solar imaging is a different ball game, everything gets hot. It can cause serious eye injury and body sunburn. The camera's cooled the same as in deep-sky imaging. The Sun is tracked easily once everything is aligned. Usually, only declination tweaks are needed.
