Occasionally, we observe extraordinary comets that may only be visible once in our lifetime... I have been lucky enough to capture images of six comets since 1996.
In March 1996, I saw and photographed Comet Hyautake, which was the first comet I had ever witnessed. The last time I imaged a comet after that was in October 2007, when I captured Comet Holmes 17P.
After 15 years, I recently captured images of Comet C/2017 K2 (PanSTARRS) and in 2023, we had Comet C/2022 E3 ZTF.
